The State of Qatar participates in the Second session of the Arab Cybersecurity Ministers Council

The State of Qatar participated today, Tuesday, September 30, 2025, in the second ordinary session of the Arab Cybersecurity Ministers Council, held in Riyadh. The Qatari delegation was headed by H.E. Eng. Abdulrahman bin Ali Al Farahid Al Malki, President of the National Cyber Security Agency. The session approved the Arab Cybersecurity Strategy, along with mechanisms for international organizations and similar entities to participate in an observer capacity. In addition, the meeting endorsed the Council’s joining of international organizations and entities. These decisions reflect the Council’s commitment to achieving its objective of fostering a safe and trusted Arab cyberspace. On this occasion, H.E Eng. Abdulrahman bin Ali Al Farahid Al Malki, President of the National Cyber Security Agency, expressed his anticipation of welcoming all member states to Doha next November to participate in the first Arab Cyber Drill. He emphasized that the drill will serve as a practical platform to enhance regional cooperation, exchange expertise, and strengthen preparedness to confront shared Arab cybersecurity challenges
