The State of Qatar Participates in the discussion on the draft Arab Convention on the Protection of Personal Data
The National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA) participated as part of the State of Qatar’s delegation in the Joint Committee of Experts and Representatives from Arab Ministries of Justice and Interior, along with other concerned entities, to continue discussions on the draft Arab Convention on the Protection of Personal Data. The meeting was held from 15 to 16 October 2025 at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States in Cairo. The Agency’s participation reflects the State of Qatar’s commitment to strengthening joint Arab collaboration in the field of data protection and privacy regulation. Qatar emphasized the need to develop unified legislative frameworks across the region that keep pace with rapid digital transformation.Latest News
